ZThe erences dialog box sets values that FrameMaker remembers from Lsession to session, such as the automatic save options, how to display text Kin very small point sizes, and which interface language to use. The dialog Mbox also has settings that can make file sharing between different platforms easier. File menu > Open Dialog box where you open a file. Open Document (Specifies the name of the file to open. Preview 3Displays a preview image of the selected document, if possible. Format 5Specifies the format of the files that appear in the M 6scroll list. The contents of this pop-up menu depends 9on the filters and translators installed on your system, 7but the following items always appear on the menu. Show All Files 8Shows all files in the current folder regardless of the file formats. If the document was created using FrameBuilder and contains structured e M Jtext flows, the Document Is Structured dialog box appears. To open a read- Lonly copy, click Open as View Only. To remove the structure so you can edit g Dthe document, click Remove Structure and Open for Editing. When you Hsave the document, FrameMaker will save it as an unstructured document. Dialog box where you specify the correct location of a graphic file. This Pdialog box appears if you open a document with graphics that FrameMaker Ecannot find, which can happen if the document contains graphic files f 5imported by reference (see Import Preview 2Displays a preview image of the selected file, if possible. Looking For 5Displays the graphic file s pathname that was stored a 2with the document. The pathname is usually stored 3as a relative pathname that is, it begins with the 8document s folder. FrameMaker used the pathname ;to look for the graphic file, but could not find the file. 5Use the scroll list to navigate to the correct file. Update Document to Use New Path 6Stores the new pathname you enter for the graphic /file and opens the document. If other imported :graphics are missing, FrameMaker tries to use the new path to find them. Ignore All Missing Graphic Files 8Ignores other graphics cannot be found and .opens the document. The missing graphics will appear as gray rectangles.
